Today is a big day for South African cricket as 22 year old Lauren Agenbag became the first South African woman to umpire a Women’s T20 International cricket match.

Agenbach, who has considerable experience on the domestic circuit, says she is looking forward to a long and successful career as an international umpire.

I spoke to her at the conclusion of the SA v Sri Lanka game at Newlands, a short while ago:
