Last December, I was approached by Sky Sports to present The Hundred this year.
With Covid-19 hitting, the tournament was postponed to 2021.
I was looking forward to letting you know closer to the time, but news slipped out last Monday after I wrote a piece ‘Will South Africa be banned from international cricket?‘ for SkySports.com, which unknown to me concluded with “Kass will be part of Sky Sports Cricket’s coverage of The Hundred in 2021“.
The revelation sparked personal and media queries, and I put out a tweet to confirm the news.
Thanks for all the calls and messages. Yes, I have been approached by @SkyCricket and I am happy to confirm that I will be joining the team for @thehundred in 2021. Exciting! @SkySports

Since it wasn’t an official announcement from Sky Sports, I decided against accepting interview requests, …
Except one. I had to speak to the great Robert Marawa, who helped me get my first cricket broadcasting breakthrough.
The extended interview was a full-circle moment for me, to be on his show, and to reflect on my journey so far.
Take a listen and let me know what you think!
