For the second year in a row, I had the honour of being MC for the launch of the Brutal Fruit Netball Premier League.
What has impressed me on both occasions is the media presence at the event, and subsequent promotion of the semi-professional league across various media platforms.
Women’s sport is crying out for real content and the Premier League provides exactly that. High intensity action with ever improving teams facing off in tense battles.
My wish for #BFNPL is for it to grow into a fully professional league that provides proper playing and paying opportunities, that keep our best players playing in South Africa.
In only its fourth year, the #BFNPL has the potential to be a real game changer in SA sport!
